We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Technology Officer to join our executive leadership team and to lead our existing engineering organization . With over 7 million users acquired in under 120 days and a successful recent $18M+ funding round, we are on a mission to bring Luzia, a friendly, multifunctional personal assistant, to everyone. This product is designed to organize, simplify and enrich everyday life through features ranging from managing calendars and answering questions to providing learning experiences and simplifying everyday tasks. As our new CTO, you'll be at the forefront of this exciting mission, driving our engineering strategy and enhancing our product to serve our users around the world.
Responsibilities:
Lead and develop a high-performing team. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous learning.
Shape and define the company's engineering direction and strategic trajectory
Drive innovation, spearhead research initiatives, and steer the design process for new product development
Architectural design for long-term sustainability without compromising speed.
Set up and follow the metrics for the department (strategic metrics to see performance).
Investor relationship.
Raise the bar for talent branding initiatives around technical hiring.
Open source strategy—community collaboration and participation (brand creation).
What we are looking for:
15-20+ years of technical background with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role at a venture funded startup.
Enjoy operating in the weeds and staying heavily involved with their teams.
Experience in consumer apps at high-growth startups (VC funded) in tech.
