We’re seeking a creative, data-savvy, and hands-on Senior Product Designer to elevate our chatbot app on Android and iOS and work on our Group Chats and community features. You’ll drive innovation, enhance user engagement, and design flows that make AI approachable and entertaining for our users, helping us stand out in the crowded AI landscape..
What You’ll Be Doing (First 15 Days)
Dive into our group chats functionalities, their current design, user feedback, and performance data to identify quick wins.
Collaborate with PMs and engineers to prototype a new feature or flow for ways in which Luzia can blend into 1:1 and group chats
Conduct a mini usability test to validate an initial design concept.

Your Key Responsibilities:
Hands-on Design: Own the end-to-end design process for our chatbot app, from ideation to pixel-perfect execution, tailoring it for users new to AI while pushing creative boundaries.
UI Design: Create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces that align with our brand aesthetics and usability standards.
AI-Driven Design: Leverage your understanding of AI capabilities (e.g., NLP, context awareness) to design features that maximize the chatbot’s potential.
UX Research: Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.
Prototyping: Create interactive prototypes to illustrate design ideas and facilitate feedback.
Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and engineers to ensure feasibility and seamless integration of designs.
Iterative Improvement: Continuously iterate on designs based on user feedback and data analysis.
Requirements:
Fluent in English (Spanish/Portuguese is a plus).
3 - 5 years of experience as a product designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your UX/UI design skills, particularly in designing apps.
Ability to think outside the box in uncharted AI territory, designing flows that are both groundbreaking and intuitive for AI newcomers.
Proficiency in Figma and Design Systems, and familiarity with data tools such as Amplitude or Mixpanel.
App experience for native development in Android and iOS.
Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies, with a proven track record of translating user insights into intuitive and compelling designs.
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, communicate design concepts clearly, and incorporate feedback from stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance user needs, business requirements, and technological constraints.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment where priorities may shift, and roles may evolve.
